Does only the Arlo Pro Base station have Siren?

I bought a 3 camera Arlo base station. I just picked up an Arlo Pro cam thinking it had a siren equipped. So my question is do I need the Pro Base Station to obtain a Siren option ?

Only the new Arlo Pro Base Station has the Siren built into it. The Camers have a microphone and small speaker for 2-way communication or simply to record sound with the footage but no Siren. I would think that a siren would absolutely kill the battery in the camers. 

 

Also I find the new Base Station to be much faster in showing the status of all the cameras when logging in via your phone. I am really pleased with the upddated hardware.

I ditched Arlo! As a Company they hold their Customers/Us in complete contempt! We beta test producs for them, the products only work properly for ~70% of the time at best!

If you are serious about your home or work security then look elsewhere! Get a ip Camera System with an NVR and some Blink XT cameras to cover the places you cannot run a cable to. You will NEVER regret moving away from Arlo!
