Does Arlo Pro run through our internet service?

Is this system run through our internet service?  And, it states it has night vision, when motion is detected a light internally comes on to record what's going on.  Can I keep the siren off when I want to?  Would I need to have say a light on in the backyard at night for the cameras to be able to show a person's face?? Or, does the night vision take care of that?

Yes it is internet based.

It has IR illuminators that come on at night if selected to help with short range night vision recording in monochrome.

The siren can be set on or off.

At night a motion activated light would give you better results than the internal IR specially at longer ranges.
