Do all Base units (the one I have and the other round one) work with Arlo Pro 2 cameras?

I have an Arlo Pro camera system. I am looking for a used Arlo camera system for my son. Do all of the base units (the one I have and the other round one) work with Arlo Pro 2 cameras ? R

A rule of thumb is that new base stations are "backward compatible". In other words they will work with older generation cameras.

Older base station are not "forward compatible". They will not work with newer cameras.

So Ultra and Pro 3 hubs will work Pro 2 cameras, but Pro 2 hubs will not work with Ultra and Pro 3 cameras.

The Arlo HDbase ( first arlo system ) is compatible with the arlo HD cameras and also the Pro and Pro2 cameras.....

The pro and Pro2 bases are also backward compatible

the newer cameras ; Pro3 and Ultra require the Smart hub bases ( tho the bases are backwards compatible to older cameras )
