Do I need to use Outdoor Security Mount to mount Alro Pro camera outdoor?

Please let me know do I need to use Outdoor Security Mount (VMA1000 or VMA1000B) to mount Alro Pro camera outdoor, is this required?...can't we just use Wall Mount (VMA1300)?

I use only the magnetic mounts outdoors for over 2 years.

Required - No. However I use them because they are less prone to moving and it would take a thief a few extra seconds to remove it.

Thanks...is your camera installed in covered area or real outdoor where it can be exposed to all weather conditions like sun, rain, snow, cold.

Mine are generally under eaves so mildly protected but all have survived high (81MPH) wind gusts, rain, snow and sun.  Temps get to around 0F and 95F here.
