Does the Arlo pro allow for continuous streaming through the App or computer if is supplied through USB power? We like to monitor who pulls up to our driveway or front door. We can't find any information on this.

No, the camera will not stream 24/7.....

tho I have not run a full time relate test, it appears to time out similar to the regular Arlo camera to conserve battery life

When plugged in, we don't find any issues. Though granted we don't have it streaming Live 24/7, but certainly for long periods of time that seems to be much greater than any timeout period.

I've tested the Q cameras to live view for well over an hour.  Mind doing something similar so we can compare?

The Arlos time out at 30 mins max

The Qs I've runn for an hour plus anf then there were some changes and it seemed to time out sooner than the previous tests ( sw change? )

Started the PRO live this am

Is the Pro plugged in?  Mine are outside, away from power.

Testing the Arlo PRO ( ac powered, still DOA re battery, on regular arlo base connection ) on PC

So far I've already run it twice... first time it dropped out at the 15+ min mark, second time the Pro dropped out at about 20 mins

Be it sw time out or not , unknown as it just goes back to regular screen ( with button for LIVE )

Will try it next via the Android, then Ipad

Ipad...looks like a winner... same setup as before.

Ipad plugged in ac, put on ran fine for almost an hour ( then the wife touched it an acc turned off ).

So, I know it should have made and hour , it had only about 2 mins to go.

Much like the Q.

Will have to go back and check the phone for auto shut - off ...tho the screen never blanked off the prgm /Pro did stop after a short time.

Hi TomMac,

I appreciate all of your help. So we confirmed that the iPad can do continous live streaming with the Arlo PRO plugged in. However, with an andoid deive and a PC the unit times out?
