Hi,

I cannot link cameras to my base. It’s saying it is out of compliance.  Please help. I have already done a hard reset on my home base. I have a Pro VMC4030

 Can you post a screen shot of the error message?

If you are are trying to sync the camera to the base station, then you need to use the Arlo app - not HomeKit.

Based on the screenshot, it looks like the error message is coming from apple homekit, not Arlo.

 

Is the base station connected to homekit?

I don’t believe so at this point. I couldn’t figure out how to add the cameras without setting up HomeKit. But I keep getting that error message so I don’t know how to proceed.

Normally you just "add new device" from the main page of the app or my.arlo.com. No need for homekit at all.  

 

I'd go into the homekit settings in the app, and remove homekit if it is still set up - I think it's getting in the way.
