Hi,
I have an Arlo Pro base station and 3 cameras. I need to purchase one more camera and I was wondering if my system is compatible with all other cameras? (Pro 2-4, Ultra, Ultra 2)
If not, does anyone know which camera is compatible with my model? I don't want to upgrade my entire system, I just want to purchase an additional camera to add to my system.
Thank you for your help,
Alec

What is the model number of the existing base station? Look for the label on the bottom of the base.

The later than pro2 model cameras require a subscription to access Arlo’s cloud storage.

Model #: VMB 4000
Sounds like I'll need to pick up an Pro 2 or earlier if I don't want to pay for a monthly/yearly subscription.

If you’re able to get the pro2 that is, I would imagine that they would be rare as hens teeth for that very reason.
Just be aware that it would need to be one that has been removed from the previous owners account so you can’t add it to another account.
The only other alternative is to upgrade the base to a 4540 or 5000 to give you access to direct local storage but with limitations.
Read carefully
