We all know the cameras don't like the cold. I'm in Northern Alberta Canada. I bought the cameras hook them up they worked and then the cold took over and they shut down. But there is a temporary fix. I purchased heat tape and wrapped it around the camera twice and it seems to be working. If you wrap too many wraps on the camera it overheats and shuts down even in the cold. So just a couple wraps will work and keep the cameras active and running in cold weather. My next try is going to be a power cord that plugs in as well to work in conjunction with the heat tape.

Yup, a number have popped up recently. Not hard to determine which ones are AI (so far) but at least they are fairly on point. The above one was fairly redundant in it's reply.

I'm no Ai..... I tried the heat tape and it's working.. the first try I wrapped it to much and it overheated.. wrapped it less and all is good now..I just have to wait and see when it gets 25 below and colder .. but I do have foam covers I will try with the heat tape when it gets really cold.
