Cannot see VMB4000

I went away for years and came back and my arlo VMB4000 can't be seen by the new arlo secure app. The legacy app stopped working. Because of this I can't use my device at all. 

 

I tried everything from factory resetting to changing lan cables to trying it on different wifi . Tried the portal as well as the app. Please help.

What are the leds showing on the base station?

 

After a factory reset they should be green, green and Amber meaning the base is ready to be claimed.

 

Note you need to operate the internal reset using a paper clip and holding the reset until the leds begin flashing or at least 12 seconds.

 

Before trying to readd the base station to the account, make sure it has been removed first

 

If the base has been offline for a while you may be required to update firmware first.
