Can you record your cameras to the unit but still access them live over the internet?

You can only record to the cloud or to the cloud and USB while being connected to the net. If the internet is disconnected, the unit will only record to the attached USB drive (if you attach/insert one). You cannot view the contents of the USB drive except by removing the USB drive and plugging it into a computer. I've asked if they might make it that we could access the USB drive through the app or web interface but apparently it's not on the plan for the near future. The USB drive is merely a backup measure for when the internet is down
