Can't update firmware on wireless arlo camera (older camera). Tried through Arlo app and laptop.

I have Arlo wireless camera, with new batteries. I am unable to update the firmware through the app, and on my laptop. (?) 

What is the problem here? It just does not allow updates at all on this specific camera. The others, that charge not with battery, but with a plug, the newer cameras, I have NO problem updating firmware.

How do you know the camera needs an update? Have you compared the installed version to what's listed in the Firmware Release Notes section here? The last update for this camera was Nov. 1, 2020 so there's no new one.

You can open and close the battery door to see if that helps or remove and resync the camera.
