Yes you can. However, once you go over 5 then you need to upgrade from the free basic subscription to one of the paid ones starting at $9.99 per month for up to 10 cameras.

Night time and infra red movement detection is improved, the Pro now uses a dual PIR setup. The Arlo Pro now has a lot less lag between movement and the starting of the recording.
The Arlo Q uses pixel based movement detection so zones can be set up and will work through glass.

so the pros compared to the older model offers what?
Pros: Faster detection in both night and day?
Pros: Nothing else?
Cons: likely uses more battery power since now we added audio encoding that the camera has to process?!
Cons:?

The Pro also seems to have superior motion detection rejection of distant objects (due to the dual PIRs?) My original cameras pick up cars on the street that the Pro ignores - noticed that right away. They also have much better low light capability, more on a par with the Q cameras.
Battery life is on a par with the original cameras using rechargeable batteries. Audio encoding won't be nearly as much of a hit as video on battery life since there's so much less to be encoded and transmitted.
