Can You use Arlo Without Base Station

Is it possible to use cameras without connection to the base station but within the wi-fi range?

No. The wireless cameras are not IP cameras and require the use of the base station.

the question then becomes , if not IP , what about BlueTooth???

Nope, the wireless cameras use a dedicated WiFi between the base and cameras. No other connection is possible.
