I have a new Arlo pro with 2 cameras. Can I use a thumb drive plugged into the base to record the videos and if so what is the size capacity I can use?

Yes... actually I think most use a thumb drive cause many have them and they are simple to remove...
I use a 32gb thumb drive which holds serveral months easy...
(BTW, a 10 sec video is about 1 mb )
I would say to use anything over a few gb up to the max of 2 TB
( not that a thumb drive is that big yet )... if you have a 16 gb thats prob perfect.
Remember you can use two or have the files auto delete when it gets near full...but you can't view from the drive directly. It must be ejected as most USB devices and then plugged into another device to view the mp4 files
