I know the arlo Pro are wireless with recharging batteries, but can I use a power cord with these? I would like the weatherproof outdoor camera connected to the wireless network but want to power them via hardwire to outlet or USB and not have to worry about changing batteries or limit my live video streaming because of battery life.
Thanks

1) The cameras only work with the base station's WiFi, not with your own.
2) Yes, you can power the cameras with the microUSB connector but... You only have one power adapter although you could potentially use an appropriate aftermarket adapter (5v at 1.5-2 amps for just powering the camera as well as 9v at 1.5-2 amps to charge the battery if you leave the battery in - the adapter has to have Qualcomm Quick Charge capability to work). Note that the Arlo and most aftermarket adapters are not weatherproof. Additionally, the cord could be an issue for both length as well as wire size (small wires lead to voltage drop which leads to poor performance). There are recent threads about this to check out.
