Hi,

I just purchased a 2 camera Arlo Pro.

I want to setup one cameras as follows:

  1. Outside camera to store content into the cloud.
  2. Inside camera to store content only into the local USB for privacy reasons.
I don't want the inside content to be stored in the cloud.
However, I want to be able to view only current events from the internet.

Is this possible at the moment?

If not, is there a work-around to do this?

Regards,

David

I don't think you can do it that way. Either both record to the cloud or none do.

Any videos stored on your local USB drive cannot be viewed through the internet. You have to manually unplug the USB drive and connect it to a computer and play the files with something like VLC

Agree... not do-able

But remember that if a camera is in a private setting , like child's room or bedroom, you always have the option to disable that camera in SETTINGS>pick camera> ON/OFF toggle.   This is a privacy mode that disables the camera and no one can access it unless the primary holder turn is back on.

Or just spin to face wall ....  🙂
