Subject speaks for itself. I thought the Arlo came with conventional AA or AAA Lithium batteries but the thing is proprietary!
If I happen to have a power outlet near it, can I leave it plugged in all the time?

Battery pack?
How can you do that without the battery pack?

Well, my question was a theoretical one.
I went to open the package. Got the two boxes out of their sleeve.
These people at Netgear can't even design packaging where you cannot even remove the camera from the packaging without DESTROYING the packaging. Never seen anything so stupid!
My reseller told me I can only return it if it's in resalable condition. So back it goes!
They bolt the camera down to its display mount? And no amount of hand leverage releases it.
And now this forum software is emailing kindergarten badges. WTH?

If you reach into the lower compartment of the kit box, you can unscrew the plastic screws to release the cameras

While I'm not a fan of the packaging myself, it's hardly the worst I've ever seen and is fairly easily figureout-able.
