I recently added two Arlo Pro add-on cameras to my previous generation Arlo base stations (one on each).  I keep losing connection on one of the cameras.  I returned/exchanged one camera already that would only stay connected for a couple of minutes and only if the battery were left out and running on AC.  One camera works perfectly. The other loses connection frequently (several times per day).  I have a total of 5 cameras on one base station and 4 on the other.  It doesn't matter which base station it is connected to.  Location/proximity to base station doesn't matter. I have full WiFi bars.  I am using the cameras plugged in to it's AC charging cable/adapter and keeping the battery in.  Doesn't matter if battery in or if disconnected from AC and running on battery.  Resetting base station doesn't help.  Latest firmware is installed in base and camera.  Only way to reconnect is to disconnect the charging cable, removing the battery for 10 seconds, reinserting battery and then plugging in charging cable/ adapter.  Sometimes the camera works and then if I access it via the iPhone app to change a setting the camera loses connection.  The camera that works has no LED light on and the battery charge indicator on the app shows a black battery with 100% charge with the lightning bolt charge indicator.  The camera that drops connection will sometimes have no LED and other times a constant blue. The app shows 100% charge but has a white battery and the charge bolt.  Any ideas??

If you swapped the two cameras and the one still has issues in the new location ( where the previous one worked )

Then contact Netgear or exchange
