I am trying to catch an armadillo that is using my lawn as the local buffet line.  Since the animal is small and quiet, the camera is not able to detect it's motion or sound thus being triggered to record.  I have tried manual record, but each time the recording times out after about 30 minutes and I get nothing.  I need the camera to record throughout the night (9 hours) so I can catch this bugger.  How can I prevent the manual record from timing out?

You can't.

If you can get power to the camera, you can purchase the CVR (continuous video recording) service for the camera, and then drop it after you've dealt with the problem.  Note this wouldn't be available on the Pro camera - only the Pro-2 or Ultra.
