Bring Arlo base to a high speed internet location to update firmware

Hello, I cannot upgrade my firmware due to a slow internet where the system is installed. Would it work if

1) I take the whole system to a home where high speed internet is available

2) up grade the firmware using that network

3) go back to the slow internet location (where I want utilmatly to use the system) 

4) hook the base to the network and sync everything?
