Bought a new router/wireless. all cables connected just like the old router, base is blinking amber. Have tried all suggestions. reset, disconnect cables. mobile app can not find any base or cameras. Frustrating
no live help even trial is not up.

Define "reset". You would need to remove all devices from Settings, My Devices to try to start fresh. You can also hold the reset button for >10 seconds until the LED flashes amber for a hardware reset.

Have you tried a different ethernet port on the router?
If you put the old router back, does the problem resolve?
