Hello,

I have a Blueiris system installed and I wanted to add Arlo Pro camera (without the base station).

I love your Arlo pro features and the ability to hang it on the wall without all the cabling.

my question is simple - can i connect the camera to a local computer via Wifi and not the base station, allowing me to connect it to my working software?

Will it work with Blueiris for the best knowledge you have?

The Arlo and Arlo Pro cameras MUST use the base... if you want to hook directly to your home wifi, then there is the Q camera ( tho it is indoor rated only )

It prob will not work with Blueiris unless you rig up some form of IFTTT

For the good of all, this is the answer I recieved from BlueIris:

"The Arlo camera is a cloud-only camera I believe, and is not designed to be used with 3rd party applications, so I do not believe it will be compatible with Blue Iris."
