I have three cameras. They were all working 5 months ago. Then I packed them up because I moved. I pulled them out of storage and charged them, however they will not work unless they are plugged in to the charger. As soon as the charging cable is removed, the camera stops working. I believe the issue is the battery. This is happening on all 3 cameras. I tried to speak with a live agent, however Arlo says I am not entitled to speak to a live agent since I don’t have a subscription. Is this a common way of handling customer support? It’s quite rude if you ask me. How am I supposed to get my batteries replaced?

Interested to know if you removed the batteries from the camera when you packed them.

Not that it matters unless you fully charged them, I would have expected better shelf life.

You could try the article below to recover the dead batteries. One customer was able to recover all five of his 2 year dead batteries with a lot of persistence.

Yes, no more free support, guess they don’t wish to waste their time on out of warranty products which probably says a lot. Problem for us is the older products keep on going hardware wise.

I think the standalone charger might also work.
