Need to replace a battery for the camera. paper work is gone. Base unit is Model VMB4000. It does not indicate which Pro version it is. Although on this form it indicates it's a Pro or Pro 2.

Am I safe to assume I would be buying a camera battery for a Pro or Pro 2?

You can find the camera model by opening the camera and removing the battery. Look for a label that starts with VMC.
