I changed the batteies (non-rechargabl) in my arlo wireless cammera--I am using a recommened bater (Lithium 123) and a good brand (energizer). The camera became very very warm and when I checked the batteries they wer HOT. Any suggestions as to why this happened? Not using this particular camera until problem can be resolved just in case i could damage something from the heat.
Thank You! Matt and Susie

Wrong section since this is the Pro are which uses a dedicated li-ion battery. However, the CR123 batteries shouyld never be hot. It could be bad batteries or a bad camera. Did you verify that they were inserted properly and that no debris is somehow causing a short? Swap at the store or open a case with support here:
