I have two Arlo Pro Base Stations (VMB4000). Both are set up under different emails (two unique accounts). Both are operating fine individually (all lights green, all cameras work as advertised). The first unit has four cameras and a bridge for two spotlights (no additional cameras allowed under the free subscription), and the second unit has two cameras.

I am trying to determine if there is a way to connect the two systems in the mobile app so that I can view all cameras under the same login.

I have tried to add the device (add Base Station/Hub) from either account for the Base Station on the other account, to no avail (it cannot find the device).
Is this possible - any ideas?

You use the "friend" account feature to do that.

Details depend on whether you see "Library" in the two app menus, or instead see "Feed" and "Dashboard".

So let us know what you see in both accounts.

That doesn't work.  The hub can only be in one account.

Thanks for your reply.

Then use this guide to share the cameras:

Make sure you set "allow access rights".

This works more reliably if you accept the invite on a PC.  Click on the "Create Account" email, and your browser will open to my.arlo.com.  From there, log into the account to which the cameras are being shared (the "friend" account).  You need to complete the two-factor authentication.  Then the invite should show up as "Accepted" in the primary account.

You can do this in both directions (so both accounts will show all cameras).  You won't get full control of the cameras in the other account (camera settings are only available in the primary account).  But you can see recordings, etc.

I followed the instructions in the guide from the link provided. I was able to share from each account to the other, and I was able to accept each of the invites through the accounts on a PC. Both accounts now show that the cameras are shared, and that the invite accepted (old application).
Unfortunately, neither account shows the cameras from the other account.

Perhaps it takes the Arlo system 24-48 hours to update???

Quick additional comment ... I just ran some tests, and I am now getting alerts on each account when the cameras are triggered by motion. It's a start, and confirms that data is shared; however, the cameras are not shared (yet).

Do both phones show "Library"?  Or does one show "Feed"?

One of the phones has the older software and displays the "Library", the other has the newer version and shows "Feed".

Then the account running "Library" needs to migrated to "Feed".

The hack to do that is to go into "add device" and start to add a Pro 5s camera.  While you can't complete that process without the camera, the workflow will migrate the account to "Feed" before you get stuck.

There are a lot of differences with "Feed", so you should consider whether you really want to do this.

"Feed" has three built in modes.  While you can modify them, you cannot add more.  So if you use custom modes now, you will lost that feature.  (Arlo has said they will add it back, but they aren't saying when).

Also the combination of "Scheduling" + "Geofencing" doesn't work well.  If you want more information on that, just post back.
