Hello,

I had a spare Base Station VMB4500r2 in my storage. Has been there for some years since I bought a package to get more cameras. Since I had a problem with my older base station draining my cameras I wanted to test to migrate the cameras to my newer base station that I've never used

before. I started to add the VMB4500r2 to the app. That worked, but the step when it's looking for new firmware didn't work. It couldn't update the firmware. The current firmware of my VMB4500r2 is 1.12.1.2_27956. I tried adding my cameras from the old base station to VMB4500r2 but that didn't work. Probably because the cameras has the latest firmware and the VMB4500r2 has a very old firmware.

If I try to add the cameras back to my old base station (VMB4000r3) it works. That base station has the latest firmware.

Please help me get the base station to a working firmware version.

Hi, I'm having the exact same issue. VMB4500r2 in daily use (alongside other r3s) and the r2 has a yellow mark that says firmware needs to be updated, but never completes. I noticed this because the cameras connected to the r2 suddenly fail to live stream, but the cameras connected to the r3s work just fine, and all are in the same network.

Guess I'm out of luck.

The escalation they made was that they closed my case since I'm from Sweden and they couldn't help me because of GDPR and they redirected me to phone support in Sweden that don't know noting about anything and don't have access to dev team.
