Recently the Base Station stopped recording to USB. After checking on the Arlo App, I discovered that I now have 3 errors showing where there wasn't any before (in the last 3 years using this base station).

Errors:

1. Device Settings>Storage Settings>USB>"REQUIRES FORMATTING" = NOTE, USB is already formatted and has been working properly for years

2. Device Settings>Storage Settings>USB>Storage Status: "Error: SD CARD < 16 GB"

3. There is no longer a "Safely Eject USB Device." button in the interface

Is this all an issue with the newest firmware? (my firmware is up to date according to the app)

For issue #2, I see others have posted the "Error: SD CARD < 16 GB" in the community in the recent months (3/20-4/20). No response yet from Arlo's Dev team....

Can a Community Manager give some answers to these 3 issues? Thx

Latest firmware requires at least a 16GB drive. WHat you're seeing seems normal. If you install one of at least 16GB do the messages go away?

Thanks for the response.

Yes, USB is 16GB... made sure I reformatted as FAT on mac

I had issues until I rebooted the base at least 3 times within a half day timeframe ..

the next day I was able to see the "Safely Eject USB" button and the ability to format... Working now.

Not sure what changed and why. I wish it was clear and was given the alert that the new firmware had requirements. I was lucky to be at this location to address this issue as I'm away most of the time and wouldn't be able to troubleshoot remotely.
