I recently bought another 3 camera arlo pro setup for my mums house but im having trouble setting this one.

When i connect the base station to the router for set up all i get is a green light on power, nothing for internet and a amber light on the end one. 

The router shows its connected to the station and i have moved ethernet cable to all ports but nothing.

I tried a factory reset on the base station but nothing changed.

Any help would be great before i take it back.

When you reset, did you hold the button until the LEDs flashed amber? If so, it does sound like a hardware problem - I'd swap it at the store.

I held the button for 10 secs and the lights went amber flashing for abit before returning back then power green camera amber

You don't mention what the Internet LED is showing. All the LEDs provide clues.

There is no internet light only green on power and amber on camera., or do you mean when I reset it what lights flash?

Does the Internet LED flash when resetting to prove that the LED works? If so and there's no light of any color when done rebooting, that implies one of 3 things:

 

1) Bad cable - replace it.

2) Bad router port - try a different one. Also try rebooting your router.

3) Bad port on the base. Swap the system at the store or open a case wih support:
