Bad expierience Arlo pro base station disconnects

After 3 weeks of using this equipment I have decided to return it out of frustration. Worked great for the first 3 days than there was an outage on November 25 and after that it never work properly. Base station keep disconnecting at random, every time I would try to activate or diactivate the base station would disconnect and come back on in 10 minutes only go offline again. I contacted support was on the phone for almost an hourresetting the base station and cameras, Same problem, they offered me a base station replacement but I had to send them the base station and when they received it they would send out a replacement. I asked them to send be a base station and I would send the old one back when I get the replacement they wouldn't do it unless I provided them with a credit card. Well its boxed up and is going back to Bestbuy, not worth the time hassle and frustration. Product is not reliable

I apologize for the poor experience. The Arlo team is taking steps to prevent future occurrences like the outage you are referencing. It does sound like your base station may have had a hardware issue and an RMA may have resolve this. The credit card requirement is part of the support process to help insure the original equipment is returned.

I just purchased and spent $400, your product was not working and you have my money, not sending out a replacement for a bad base station and requestiong my credit card after I have already paid for it, is just bad customer service.

I have returned your product because of your bad customer service policy, I'm very dissipointed because I though your product had potential for my home security, that being said a product with out customer service is not a product.You could have sent me the replacement and the return shipping label if the new base station worked  I may have been a happy customer,. I most likley would have purchased more of your products in the future. But you decided that I could not be trusted to send you back the defective base station. So you have lost a customer, sale and future sales, not to mention your potential lostr sales due to my bad expierience that i will certainly share with any and everyone I come in contact with.
