I don't want to turn on the motion detection, I just want to hear the sound when my little daughter is under the nanny's care alone at home. So how can I just see the video with sound on and motion detection off? Thanks a lot.

You can simply do a LIVE VIEW of the camera  anytime you want to see and if wanted also start a manual record session at the same time
