Well, I'm in an endless loop..

The verification code arrives about 3 minutes after the 2 minute window expires...

I've loaded webmail in case my Outlook is slower..

Apparently I don't qualify for human help..

Hey Arlo team, please check that your software processes work!

So frustrating..

Can’t comment on email delay, it could be the email provider.

If you have a mobile you can use the mobile push notification request to accept the 2fa event but you only get 30sec and can be a pain if the App takes longer to open on the mobile.

Thanks, or it could be that Arlo is sending the messages after the verification times out.

As I set the account up some time ago without two factor, there's no choice for a push notification.

Well, I could -  if I could log in to set it up..

I take your point, one of the moderators @JamesC or @ShayneS might be able to assist if you pm them on this forum.

Then it would fail for everyone, which isn't happening.

You aren't seeing anything in the trusted device list when you select "Try another verification method"?
