Arlo PRO needs internet access via ethernet net cable...
Hotels I've been in do have ethernet ports in rooms often, BUT using internet in hotels usu involves signing into a website and agreeing to terms/conditions of the hotel. You would not be able to do so with the base unit.
What would work almost all the time is a mobile Hotspot with an ethernet port... you could turn on the hotspot celluar and hook you base into that.
other than the data charges, it should be easy to do.
As a PS; a min of video is aprox 6 mb of data so keep this in mind as to your data plan
Record or live view is the same amount of data if you access the video not thru the hotspot.... if you acces the video thru the hotspot, you pay for the upload to the cloud AND download when you view
Morse is faster than texting!
