Hi, another tip for charging problems. Go to the end for tip.

I have two arlo pro cameras, one charger that was delivered with the arlo bundle package.

Charger is of type Netgear , p/n : 332-1107-01, output 5V -1.8A or 9V - 1.1A.

I had one battery at 37% in the outdoor camera, and a new replacement battery from ARLO  at 90%.

First I inserted the battery in the indoor camera ( was operating without battery), and got the usual message that the charger could not charge the battery, see the KB article. Followed the KB instructions again, with no luck.

I took the outdoor camera inside, let it warm up and removed any moisture. Then connected the charger with same charging fault message as before.

I think the chargers are to small or on the edge of having enough power to start the charging and supply the camera. Maybe Re-booting the system somehow reduces the power consumption slighly when everything is cleared?

I used the prosedyre below to charge both batteries in their corresponding cameras, with no hazzle!

Tip:

1. Switch the camera off , «device on» set to off position.

2. Unplug the camera from the charger, camera end.

3. Unplug the charger from the mains, and let it cool off for 30 mins (might not be needed).

4. Plug in charger to the mains.

5. Plug in the charger cable to the camera.

6. Wait 4-5 minutes.

7. Turn the camera on, «device on» set to on position. It should show the charging symbol.

8. When charging is complete, repeate the steps with another battery or camera.

Good luck 🙂
