Arlo pro add to old system

If I add the arlo pro to the original system, will I have all the current and future functions of the pro without the pro base. I realize the alarm and local record will not be available, but I am interested in the motion detection and ability to discriminate in objects it detects. Will the pro have different function settings in the app?

The PRO will operate just as an Arlo but with better response and audio.. in the app are those needed extras for the audio,etc. It will be included in the Modes just like an Arlo

 

It does not discriminate objects but has dual pirs which respond better/faster
