After reinstalling my doorbell camera and a software update, my Arlo base is no longer connecting to the app. I spent time with text support going through all the steps for resetting the base.

We did speed checks with no issues, but the base will not connect.

I talked to a friend who also uses Arlo for his security. He mentioned that he, too, is having the very same issue, which just started after this latest software update.

I believe this to be a software issue. Has anyone else experienced this?

What base is it? Look at the bottom for a label with VMBxxxx. If it's a VMB4000 there's been a number of similar complaints which don't seem to be resolved.

Hey Guru,
It is indeed the VMB4000. It worked fine until about a week ago. I had to reinstall my doorbell and then
I lost the connection with the base.
My best guess is it's a software issue on Arlo's end, but they aren't doing anything about it.
I too noticed a large number of complaints of the same issue.
