Latest Android app update released today, v 2.43_17381 appears to break the app. Attempting to launch the app puts it into an app opening loop that never actually puts you into the application.

Google Pixel, Android 7.1.2, June 5th patch level.

Manually close the app though the task manager and then open the app again and it should work. I think they're working on fixing this

Deleted app and reinstalled worked for me. Android with current updates

I posted a message last night about this to warn people. I see that the update has been pulled - I had reinstalled the previous app (with all its warts) and there's now no update available.

yes... TMK, they removed the new app so when you do this the last version will go on ( and that one worked )

I'm running to 2.4.2 without a problem. The latest update seems to have fixed things for me

2.4.2 is the older version from mid-May. Apparently when you uninstalled and reinstalled you got the older version since the update had been removed.
