I though Netgear had truly come up with an ingenious way to charge their cameras with a solar panel, but sadly it was too good to be true.
I bought the Arlo Solar Panel 2 weeks ago, and it seemed to be working for a few days and then stopped working completely. Also, they fail to indicate that if you have a low battery, it's completely useless to charge it back up. I'm heading back to Best Buy to return it tomorrow.
My new solution is buying a third-party wired cable that is 20 feet long, and hooking it up to a receptacle in my garage instead. Sorry guys, but this product is garbage.

I am guessing that the connectors were not properly seated - it can be quite difficult to seat them and you need to press them in with some amount of force. I have purchased about 10 of them and have had zero problems with them after I got the plugs properly seated. Sometimes it took several attempts.
