Hello,

I was just about to buy an Arlo Pro set to install the cameras outside my house, when i noticed that the maximum temperature rating of the cameras is 45C.

Temperatures in this part of the world (Kuwait) can reach up to 50C in the shade, will the Arlo Pro be able to handle it? If not, what other options do i have to be able to install them outdoors? e.g. camera weather protection casing, etc.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

Interesting, we always have been talking about the cold side of the range, not the hot side. I wonder if it will shut off like it does when it reaches the cold threshold?

Yes, An unknown..

.but I can say that the Q cameras ( which run warm normally ) DO shut down if to hot...

A user had placed it on a radiator and got a "needs to cool down " messg.
