Model VMB4000 Base station connected 'green light' to router , base station AC adapter connected 'green light' , The base station and camera are on my desk and times out before making connection 'amber light'. Today have retried to connect 5 times. So what say you?

Factory reset the base (paperclip until all lights turn amber).
Remove and refit the batteries in the cameras and start again.
Make sure that you dont hold down the sync button on the base for too long, just a short press will do.
