How do i set my Arlo Pro to receive text messages instead of email notifications?

As shown in the FAQs here as well as many threads, you edit your modes and rules to do this.  Mode tab, select your base and edit your mode(s) - Armed by default. Be sure to save.

Search is your friend.

Thanks for your reply. I tried editing in mode but my profile email is defaulted and i can't change it in mode. It appears it will still ssend an email with a text if i add my text address. Do i need to Change the profile email address?

I haven't tried it but you'd need to change your profile email if you don't want that email address to be a recipient. I assume that would also change your login credentials.

As for the text notifications, do you mean the push notifications built-in or a real text message?  If the latter, you'd need to put in your mobile provider's email address as defined by that provider.  @TomMac has a list of known working addresses that you could search for here if he doesn't pop in.
