Arlo Pro - stopped receiving notifications on iphone

My dad put a couple of cameras up and gave me access to view them.

I allowed notiifcations and was receiving them just fine, but could not speak through the cameras.

My dad gave my account permissions to speak through the cameras.

Since then, I am no longer receiving notifications.

I have followed the instructions for others with this problem - I can follow them until I go to Mode at which point I'm supposed to click the "pencil" icon beside the Armed (or camera) - however, no pencil icon appears.  A pencil icon appears beside the "Schedule" option in Mode, but there is no pencil icon anywhere else. 
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong!

p.s. I have deleted and reinstalled the app selecting "Allow Push Notifications" when I first open the app, and I have made sure that under my iPhone settings I have allowed notifications for the Arlo app.

As someone with guest access, you can't edit a mode:

I assume you mean you're not getting push notifications, not the emailed ones. Since you've reinstalled the app, have you also restarted the phone? Have your father check to ensure the modes have push notifications enabled - perhaps he turned them off.
