My camera never detects my husband's pickup truck pulling into the driveway, parking or him walking into the garage.

Have you ever adjusted the SENSE level in the Mode ?

There is better detection across the FOV as to straight onward.

Also, the Pro2 has a max range for people of about 25 ft... not mentioned how/where he parks.
