Arlo Pro not charging

My Arlo Pro VMC4030 cameras no longer charge using the charging cable supplied. The batteries are fine and will charge with external chargers. How to fix?

WHat happens if you use the charger that the external charging station uses? You need a charger that supplies both 5v and 9v to charge a Pro (not a Pro 2) so verify that, too.

The external charger works just fine, but the OEM 9v internal charges does not work.

Sounds like you need to replace the OEM charger then.

The charger works fine with other electronics. The cost of a new one is minimal, but I saw some online comments indicating that a software update disabled internal charging. If so, I will need a software patch.

Certainly not the case with my own Pro and Pro 2 cameras.
