Hi all, brand new set up. I have a camera facing out of one of my home windows (it's shaded so there's no glare in the day). If I move the camera I get the message that movement was detected. If I go outside and actually walk in front of the camera... nothing.

I have created a new mode and set the motion detetion to 100%, but still no dice.

Any help is appreciated!

The problem is the glass...

Arlo,ArloPro, ArloPro2 use PIR detection (passive  IR) the glass blocks to much IR to trigger.

They are meant to be outside.

The Q cameras use pixel detection and can trigger thru glass

Motion does not work through glass.

remember, if you need one Arlo camera inside, but have one outside ( covering overlapping areas ), you can use the outside camera to trigger the inside one.  ( make sure you turn off the IR illuminatos as the light will refect back into lens )
