Approx 6 months ago we haven't been able to get our cameras connected to arlo pro. We have tried lots of ways ie batteries out, trying to resync etc and it just won't recognise our cameras. It seems that we have only just found out about the netgear/arlo split. Is there a reason our cameras no longer work or connect? Does this have anything to do with the split and we are now reading we have to pay per camera per month as a subscription? We have not been made aware of any of these changes so wondering what on earth is going on, now we have a $2000 system that does nothing!

No, nothing to do with split of companies... just some software issues in the change over.

Also, with the Arlo HD, Pro, and Pro2 nothing has changes and if in basic level, it is still free with storage for 7 days.

The newer Pro3 and Ultra offer trial free plans for a certain time but will be leaning to paid subscription after for most features.

Make sure the batteries are charged and all sw up to date... attempt a sync again ( don't hold the base sync button ) with quick press on base button and then camera

Thank you @TomMac. We will give it a try. Also one of our cameras is chewing through batteries sooo quickly even though it isn't one of our main areas of motion detection. Is this a faulty unit? Our batteries usually last around 3 months or more. This unit lasts around 1 month.
