I saw earlier post by @commodon related to their Arlo pro H8 cameras no longer recording but I could not see what the solution was to get them recording again.

 

i am looking for guidance as I too 

have 3 cameras that have all stopped recording. (H7 , H8 and H11)

What was the fix here as solution does not show anything.

Can you provide more detail regarding the symptom you are experiencing?

Yes for sure

 

Yeah one by one each of the cameras have stopped detecting motion and do not record any motion / or stored videos automatically 

 

they will snap pictures manually or record manually via the app and you can see these under the device 

 

but no automated recording of video la driven by motion. 

I have tested the motion detection light via the app and that does not work either 

 

I have rebooted the Arlo base station multiple times 

 

I have removed and re-added the devices without success. 

so not sure what the next step is

Is it possible to see if they record to local storage?

I just added local usb storage 

still nothing records based on motion for any of those devices 

 

I have two VMC3040r6 that both record ok but they are plug in powered cameras
