Arlo Pro base station goes offline and online constantly

My newly purchased Arlo pro system is intermittent. the base station does not stay online. the online led goes back and forth, green then amber.

its stays green for maybe 30 seconds to a minute and then goes amber. the website reports the devices are off line. when it goes online, i can view the live feed from the cameras breifly until the base station goes offline again.

I am trying to reset the base station but the led ligths never go amber.

Try and hold just the base reset button for about ten secs till the front leds flash amber... ( don't use sync and reset )
