Hi

My Arlo Base Stations lost connection after my internet service was changed from a static IP to dynamic IP.

How do I 'reset' my Arlo base stations to recognize the change?

Thanks

The base stations don't require a static IP address in any way. You may want to unplug the router and base and then plug them back in, in that order. Let the router fully reboot before plugging in the base.

@jguerdat might be thinking you meant a locally reserved address - I am thinking you meant you used to have a static public IP address assigned to your router.  Almost all Arlo customers have dynamic public IP addresses, so the change to dynamic IP itself isn't a problem.

Rebooting the router, and then power cycling the base stations is one thing to try.

  1. Did you also get a new router as part of this change?  If so, what model do you have?
  2. Are you still using the same internet provider?  It not, who are you using now?
