I purchased the VMS4230 | Arlo Pro 2 camera system from Best Buy and I just realized the the sensors cannot detect motion through my Triple Payne Low E Argon windows. I have it sitting in my front window and I was wondering why it was not recording anything. I have it at the highest motion setting. The camera works because it records when I move the camera around. Has anyone else had an issue with the Arlo Pro and Triple pane Low E Argon windows?

The simple answer is that the Pro using PIR based movement detection cant detect the heat changes through glass.

The Arlo Q having pixel based motion detection will work through glass, you just need to turn off night vision to stop the IR leds reflecting off the glass.
